Bare Minerals/Escentuals.

I've had my eye on this brand for a while.I finally decided to try it.I checked and made sure it isn't tested on animals or contained animal ingrediants.
.
"Does your company test on animals or contain animal ingredients?
Please feel at ease when using Bare Escentuals and mdformulations products as we do not test any products on animals. We also do not work with any manufacturers that do animal testing.
Bare Escentuals natural haired brushes are made of Goat and Pony. Please note that no animals are harmed in the process of making our brushes. For our customers who chose not to use animal haired brushes we do offer a variety of high end synthetic brushes."

Please be assured that Bare Escentuals does not do business with any domestic or foreign companies that use Child Labor."

Vegan vs. Cruelty-Free

Some people think these two go hand in hand.Sometimes they do but I've noticed some difference in these terms.
Vegan
-Does NOT contain any animal ingredients.
-Not tested on animals.
Cruelty-Free
-Not tested on animals.
-Not always vegan can have carmine, honey,or beeswax ingredients, to name a few.

Testing,testing...

I will no longer be reviewing or purchasing cosmetics and products tested on animals. I try to stay away from certain companies that do,I don't intentionally buy them. But when it comes to budget spending it may not be very easy to find inexpensive vegan and cruelty free items in stores. Most vegan and cruelty free companies are easier to find online. I have made a purchase from MAC.I thought that they didn't test on animals but since they and most other companies are expanding to China they have to animal test as required by Chinese law.I cannot stand by them and give them my business.Think before you buy. There are many alternatives to big brand cosmetic and products that can work as well or even better.

If you would like to help decrease the demand for cosmetics and products that test on animal visit this website to learn which companies do test and which companies don't test. Also there are many companies that claim to be cruelty free but their ingredients are tested on animals or their parent company tests on animals.

For more information of companies that aren't telling the whole truth visit this page,I encourage you to read this post:
